Our ERF Water Carrier has a capacity to hold 10,500 liters. The water carrier can be used to fill static/stationary engines or steam engines. We can also supply the water carrier to be used for wet down dust suppression on roadways.

As well as our water tanker services, we also offer LPP hire.

Wessex Fire and Rescue Service offer a portable water dam hire service. A 12,000 litre portable water dam can be hired either on its own or accompanied with other fire appliances.

Wessex Fire and Rescue Service have many years' experience dealing with flooding incidents. We can provide anything from portable pumps or a crew in a support vehicle, all the way up to a full size fire appliance with a fully trained and equipped crew.

Note: Did you know that County fire services will only attend a flood if life is at risk.

On one Friday in July, Gloucestershire (along with most of the UK) had received an abnormal amount of rain fall, causing one of the worst floods the area had seen in recent years. Wessex Fire and Rescue Service were asked to help the effort of providing fresh water to the residents. We provided help and assisance from this date until August 3rd.

The bowsers that were distributed around the area were filled up using the Water Carriers
